Each Cub Scout Pack must have a UNIT (PACK) DAY CAMP COORDINATOR
Please email the name, address, email and phone number(s) of your Pack Day Camp Coordinator to Drew Smith.
It is VERY important that each unit have this point of contact (POC) for Day Camp in place NOW.
Duties of the Pack Day Camp Coordinator Include:
- Helping to promote Day Camp within their unit
- Being the POC for your unit for Day Camp
- Collecting registration and medical forms--CHECK FORMS for correct and complete information BEFORE accepting forms for Scouts and Adults in their unit. This will save LOTS of confusion and wasted time on the first day of camp!
- Collecting Day Camp fees ($65 per scout, $8 per adult (If desired--$8 each for extra T-shirts) from those attending in their unit. Registrants should make their checks payable to your unit and then ONE check to be written by the unit to BSA for the total amount necessary to register everyone attending.
- Verifying that each boy attending is a registered scout. (This can be done by checking the Re-charter roster that was mailed to each Cub Master by Council.)
- Registering your entire unit for Day Camp at the scout store BEFORE the May 22, 2009 deadline.
